Returning for it’s fourth year, Swing Revolution is back as the biggest event ever run by the Leeds University Swing Society in its history.

One of the eldest University Swing Societies in the UK, it has grown enormously over the past few years and now amasses over 150 members. With weekly classes and socials the society has a history of forming an active part of the Leeds Swing Scene. Recent years has seen the society successfully take on bigger challenges, running its first ever camp in March 2012 as the society celebrated its 10 year anniversary.

In 2013, LUU Swing Society underwent one of its busiest years ever as the society ran two workshop weekends, numerous one-off workshops and our first ever international trip spending a week with Swing Maniacs in Barcelona. Included in this highly prolific year was the first Swing Revolution, kicking off with a bang with the legendary Scott Cupit leading the start of LUU Swing Society’s new revolution.

Continuing hard and strong the society keeps increasing its events, involvement with other societies and the welcoming atmosphere with many friendly faces for all its members
